Omniangels endeavors to sustain a fully accessible website in accordance with Section 508 of the United States Rehabilitation Act and the Web Accessibility Guidelines. Omniangels is not a Federal Agency; nor, is the Personal Website required by law to comply with Section 508 Standards in regard to Web Content Accessibility. All the same, Omniangels supports accessibility in consideration of the diverse needs of visitors in order to facilitate general usability and ease of navigation; as well as, to enhance overall readability.
Omniangels provides an Alternative Text equivalent via "alt" tags with applicable relevant descriptions for every non-text Image. In accordance with Section 1194.22, Image Alternative Text does not use the word "Image". Image Alternative Text does not contain: .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .jpeg. Image Alternative Text does not contain the text "image". Image Alternative Text was greater than 7 and less than 81 characters in length. Image Alternative Text was not used to repeat words.
In order to enhance overall readability Omniangels uses a Size 12 dark purple colored Trebuchet MS Font against a light blue background to maximize contrast in the main body text and a Size 12 Tahoma Font for Headers. Accent colors for the text descriptions beneath pictures, links and elsewhere have also been chosen for their aesthetic compatibility; as well as, to maximize background contrast. The same Front Page Theme is used throughout all the pages of the website.
Because there are
more than a thousand pages on Omniangels, a detailed Site Map has been created
by Categories with Sub-Categories listed alphabetically.
There are alphabetically arranged Categories links in the top and bottom borders
on each webpage with the Home page link as one bookend and the Site Map link as
the other bookend. Everytime the Omniangels Updates News
page is updated, the Site Map links are also updated.
