The Sacred Site focal point of the Aruba Environment Omniangels is the Haystack Mountain, which is located near the center of the island of Aruba about fifteen miles from the coast of Venezuela. Encompassing around 70 square miles (184 square kilometers), the Caribbean island of Aruba is almost 19.6 miles (30 kilometers) long and 6 miles (9 kilometers) wide. On a flat island noted for its white sandy beaches, the 541 feet (165 meters) high Haystack Hooiberg Mountain is visible from almost everywhere on Aruba.
There are more than one thousand steps leading up to the windswept
mountaintop which offers a panoramic vista of Aruba. The coast of Venezuela is visible to the south on a clear cool day.
