The Sacred Site focal point of the Sweden Galactic Omniangels is The High Coast (Höga Kusten) of Sweden on the Gulf of Bothnia and the Björnlandet National Park, which is located near Fredrika and Åsele in Lappland and southern Västerbotten County, Sweden. Situated in Kramfors, Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik municipalities, High Coast (Höga Kusten) is part of the Swedish coast on the Gulf of Bothnia. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, the High Coast, the land in the area rises as the glaciers melt forming tall cliff formations. The High Coast has risen 800 meters since the last Ice Age. The Björnlandet National Park encompasses about 1,100 hectares of boulder fields with high cliffs, rolling terrain, precipices, and primeval forest, in the majestic wilderness of Åsele Sami country.
Reindeer live there and a
hiking trail goes through the virgin woods and up Mt. Björnberget. Across the
river at Lake Angsjön on the eastern edge of the park, there is an information
display and a wind shelter.
