Twelfth Ray of Divine Direction. The planetary Cosmic Benefactor Archangel for the Safeguard Omniangels is
Archangel Saraqael who is also a Chieftain of the Ministering Angels who
sit on the judgment councils. A Holy Seraph, who has jurisdiction over humans
who have committed spiritual sins, Archangel Saraqael will continue to serve the planet as an Archangel of the
Ninth Ray of Divine Protection.
The Sacred Site of the Saudi Arabia Madinah Safeguard Omniangels is Madinah, which is located in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia. Madinah (Medina), the enlightened city, is the second holiest city of Islam. The Mosque of the Prophet, the Masjid al-Nabawi, was built there on a site adjacent to Muhammad's home, where he was buried. Later on his home became part of the mosque when it was expanded. The Masjid Quba, (Quba Mosque), the first Islamic mosque, was also situated in Madinah. After the Hijra, Madinah became the seat of the prophet Muhammad's growing religious movement. He was invited to move there and act as a kind of governor in 622 ACE. At the time, there were divisions and quarrels between the different clans and religions in the city. Muhammad invited everyone living in Madinah to follow the new religion of Islam. Most of the Jewish population, which was quite large, as well as, the Christian population of the city were not readily convinced that Islam was the true version of their religions of Judaism and Christianity. For ten years after the Hijra, Madinah served as Muhammad's base, as he attacked and was attacked. He marched from Madinah on Makkah and became its rule without a battle ensuing. Madinah remained to all intents and purposes the capital of the Caliphate and an important Islamic city for years after Islamic rule was established. The Islamic Empire developed quickly under the first four Righteous Caliphs, until it included learning centers in Damascus and Jerusalem. After the death of the fourth caliph Ali, the Islamic capital was moved to Damascus. Although the political importance of Madinah diminished, it still remained a religiously significant city. Madinah was under Ottoman rule for centuries until 1924 ACE, when it came under the control of Ibn Saud. His kingdom later became known as Saudi Arabia.
