The Sacred Site focal point of the America Sedona Virtue Omniangels is Cathedral Rock, which is located by Sedona in the Verde Valley of northern Arizona, U.S.A. Native Americans chiefs and medicine men revered the thousand foot red rock formations in the area, which were considered the abode of deities, and performed ceremonies amongst their mystical beauty and spiritual power. There was also an ancient Native American creation myth which honored Cathedral Rock as the birthplace of the first man and woman. Archaeological remnants found in the region around Sedona include pre-Columbian rock dwellings. Today Sedona is reknown for its New Age spiritual community, as well as, the healing energy of several vortexes in the locale.
